Re: need some info on specs of web site
You cannot. The machines are built with the proportion of CPU:HDD in mind I would assume, so allowing say 500GB on a single core wouldn't leave enough for other VDS's. I understand that, but if I can get a word from NFO team, that would be great. Also, You failed at quoting me in your reply....

Re: Server Location change?
To change your location, head over to https://www.nfoservers.com/order.php. Select your server type, slots, the new location you want, etc., and the end of the page select 'This is a change to an existing server.' and then select the package you want to change. You'll be brought to a page to review ...

Re: is it possible to add whitelist ip by country?
By default, iptables does nothing, so unless you, or a script added rules, iptables shouldn't be doing anything. You can verify there are no rules and that the default policy is to accept via 'iptables -L'.

Re: Creating a website on a VPS
A few of NFO's staffers made tutorials pretty recently, they should be able to be of assistance. Keep in mind Apache and MyBB are both pretty common software, so you should be able to search up most of what you need if you run into issues. If you're running CentOS: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/v...

For others to be able to contribute, you'll need to throw in more details such as weather unmanaged or managed, amount of players, configuration, logs, etc.

Re: Adding a SSD
You would not be able to get a refund if you're not satisfied with it unless there's an actual performance problem with the service as per NFO's performance guarentee(https://www.nfoservers.com/performanceguarantee.php). If you want to get some SSD space to test with, then get just enough to test wi...

That generally means you don't have Java installed, I'd go ahead and install that.

Try making the file executable by running 'chmod +x red5.sh' and then try running the script.

Re: Issues With phpmyadmin on Linux Single Core VDS
You should check logs for the application you're trying to utilize your MySQL server with. They will more than likely offer insight as to where the application is failing, weather it be the connection to the SQL server, the database, authentication, etc. As a bit of a side note, keep in mind that ph...

Re: Web Images not showing
If you're just trying to show an image, I'd suggest against using PHP, as it's adding useless overhead. You can just use regular HTML if you just need a static page.

You should report this to the owners of the server. NFO is just the hosting company, they do not operate the server.

Re: More locations
PS: I noticed on InterNAP's web-site ( here ) that they now say they have data-centers in: Hong Kong ( link ) Singapore ( link ) Tokyo ( link ) Bare in mind, even if those locations meets NFO's bandwidth needs at a reasonable cost, it's not as simple as NFO just asking Internap to spin up some serv...
