Yes to both, and I can use connect 64.74.97.130 in the console in CS:S to connect as well. However clicking on server info on a friend shows it as the base IP for the server.
I have been googling it off and on for weeks with no real hits.

I don't believe so.
I had toyed with MMC rules at one point, but I unassigned them months ago.

Re: Friends list shows server IP as first IP in tcp/ip setti
Sorry I can no longer edit the post. I also noticed when typing ip in the console while the server is running, it gives
xx.xx.xx.xx (def. localhost)

Re: Friends list shows server IP as first IP in tcp/ip setti
For Source/OB, -ip on the command line is correct. Don't include it elsewhere (such as in the autoexec.cfg), and make sure that it's early in the command line (such as the first thing). I am at a loss. I did this as you mentioned, and it still occurs. I am hosting apache on the box as well, but to ...

Re: Friends list shows server IP as first IP in tcp/ip setti
SRCDS - CS:S and TF2 I have -ip xx.xx.xx.xx in for the command line option as well as ip xx.xx.xx.xx in the autoexec.cfg In status it says UDP/IP xx.xx.xx.xx, then public ip yy.yy.yy.yy, so somehow my public IP is getting the wrong info. After typing this out I figure its prob due to -ip and not +ip...

Friends list shows server IP as first IP in tcp/ip settings
I am curious if anyone else has ever run into this. Occasionally the servers on our dedicated all show up as the first IP in the declared IPs. When you view status is console, and connect to them, they show the correct IP. However, when you view someone on friends (view game) it always shows the bas...

Re: [dedicated] registry
Thanks for the info Kraze.
Out of curiosity, does sv_unlag do anything anymore? I got rid of it a while ago as it just gives unknown command errors when I put it in the server.cfg

Re: [dedicated] registry
I had looked at that previously Timex. The issue I have is that I don't have a control page like a normal hosted server.
I was thinking more like command line parameters as well as some tweaks NFO may share or other users on the boards.

[dedicated] registry
We have a ssd option dedicated based out of Chicago. Currently we are only running Apache and two 38 slot servers. We are getting a lot of registry complaints.
I realize it is not the machine but more likely a config issue.
I was hoping someone could post some tips or links to help us boost it.

Re: Download speed issues with apache
This was my fix by importing this into the registry. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\AFD\Parameters] "DefaultSendWindow"=dword:0000ffff "DefaultReceiveWindow"=dword:00065535 Confirming this as well. We went from download...

I noticed that. I am just so unfamiliar with IIS.
I will let you know how this turns out, worst case it is not help.

Download speed issues with apache
I have searched all over the web to try to resolve this. My current dilemma is that windows 2003 + apache 2.2 is throttling my clients download speed significantly. I am thinking of altering my registry, more specifically DefaultReceiveWindow & DefaultSendWindow. I am unsure of what the appropri...

Server polling
Every so often we have a server hang for whatever reason. In the past we always relied on the polling service NFO offers to hosted gameservers. We were brainstorming about writing something in python to query the servers and grab their process ids with WMI, but I was curious if you had any other sug...

Using remote desktop. As far as memory, taskmgr shows 1.91 gig in use, which should leave at least 1.09 gig free. CPU usage resides at roughly 2-8%. The only things we currently have running are FireDaemon, Daemon, and SRCDS. I will open a ticket as well, but I have no clue what else we could be doi...
