Re: Looking for VDS/DS with decent graphics...
I seem to remember being able to run 3D games on a DS from here that had a Haswell CPU and 2012 R2.

Re: Rust support?
We've had many server with you. IF you start providing Rust services, it'll be one more thing we have with you. Current providers are overloading their boxes by putting to many customers on one box and there is ZERO DDOS protection. You ask them for help and there answer? "Wait for it to pass....

Re: Rust support?
Man, the worst part about it all is that two of NFO's customers (one of them being me) have access to host Rust servers and are on the official GSP list. Both of us were upstarts from Rust, and I know I personally never had the intention of selling them. I just wanted to host community servers. But ...

Re: Help with 64 bit...or 32 bit?
If you do consider other virtualization software, Hyper-V is also a great option if you're emulating Windows within Windows. If you do take this option and run into problems running the evaluation ISO's, try renaming it or making a copy of it with a different name. This is something I Ran into perso...

Re: FireDaemon causing service crashes
I only did a fresh install of Arma 2, but not the mods that the server uses. I will try redownloading those mods soon. One change I made a day or two before we had crashes was -mod=expansion\beta;\expansion\beta\expansion; This will make the server read from that specified directory and one of the m...

Re: FireDaemon causing service crashes
While all of that stuff has certainly happened before, this really didn't feel like one of those. That said, I've made some progress! Before I went to sleep yesterday night, I turned everyone off except one DayZ server. No crashing. I woke up, realized things seemed stable and turned the rest of my ...

Re: FireDaemon causing service crashes
Nevermind, I finally received word from Bohemia that they were able to replicate and fix my issue in the upcoming version. I'll wait for that and see what happens.

Re: FireDaemon causing service crashes
I'm still having trouble, yesterday I had six servers go down at one time. I don't think an attack could do that. They're all running out of separate directories and they'd have to install different client-side mods to play. I reinstalled Arma from scratch today and started over, and the issue still...

Re: FireDaemon causing service crashes
Yeah but some of my other servers are also running on older versions, so I don't even think this is the cause either, since I was running that version for weeks without issue, and then suddenly this. Could it be bad RAM? My machine has a lot of it, so maybe it's hitting a bad stick and it causes a c...

Re: FireDaemon causing service crashes
I sent the logs and dump to Bohemia and they said I'm the first person to report a crash on the latest version of Arma 2. I'm experiencing the crashes on my other Arma 2 servers which are not running DayZ as well. I'm thinking it's an attack at this point, but I'm not really sure where to start on t...

Re: FireDaemon causing service crashes
This actually happens when they aren't running with FireDaemon, it just took a little while. I'm seeing an exception from arma2oaserver.exe in my logs, and when one goes down, all servers go down, even ones in different directories. ======================================================= -----------...

FireDaemon causing service crashes
I will paste the contents of the ticket I created with them, in hopes that somebody here can help me with a faster response: At approximately 20:30 onward on February 24th, you will see that my game servers were all crashing at around the same time, and they would crash after 5 - 20 minutes of uptim...

Questions regarding a Full Machine
I'm currently maxing out the CPU on my six core VDS, and I still don't think the eight core option will give me enough headroom for what I need to be doing. This made me consider a full machine, and I'm wondering how much extra power I'll get out of it. Are they really worth an $120 dollars? How doe...
