BF4 Game Server FTP Access
I am connected to the server via FTP and all I see is SVLOGS and SVSS. SVLOGS has a few log files in there and SVSS is empty. Is this how it should be? I was looking for the startup config and the server config files so i can edit them manually if I wanted. I already edited the server info through t...

Re: Server Admin controls
so if BF4 can only be purchased as a game server or a managed vds, i'm assuming we would run B3 bot from an unmanaged vds? can that be done with a game server or only a managed vds?

Re: Server Performance
you're talking about the beta gfx card drivers? I did not attempt those yet. I saw them but thought otherwise.kraze wrote:The beta drivers are what fixed a good portion of stuttering/FPS drops for me. Even then the beta likes CPU and I found it using 60-70% of my 2600K.

Re: Server Performance
I'm using a GTX260 card and had to update the drivers past v320.0. perhaps my card needs to be updated but I will try the resolution deal first and also wait until release day to make that decision. Havent had issues with BF3 and that is the reason I was suspecting the beta servers. Thanks for the i...

Server Performance
Just wondering how everyone else is fairing on the BF4 servers. I have played on a few different NFO hosted servers (Chicago, LA, Dallas) and have experienced a laggyness and I'm not sure if it is server related or my machine. There's no delay lag (connection issues) but movement and shooting feels ...

Re: Server Admin controls
Right now there are no options, but procon will probably update, also nfo has some controls as well. Proon layer is not available through NFO but you can find hosts for it. Understood. You guys are comparing the possible options to past versions of BF and I'm just wondering what they consisted of. ...

Re: Server Admin controls
I'm new to the BF series as far as admin goes. Can anyone provide brief details of what those admin controls and server options are? Thanks.

Multiple IP's vs. Different Ports
I apologize if this has been asked before but I could not resolve my answer with a search. I have a COD4 game server running on an unmanaged VDS with B3. I'd like to add a second game server and am wondering if I should get a second IP address or use another port like 28961. I am currently running o...

Re: VDS FTP
I dont have a server running on the VDS. I have used FTP plenty with webservers without issue. I was thinking the process would be the same however I am seeing it is not. With a webserver, I upload files from my pc via Filezilla to whatever directory i choose. So if I load Filezilla on the VDS, how ...

I've searched around the forums and have tried numerous methods but am still having trouble. I have Filezilla loaded on my laptop. I'm trying to connect to my VDS. I have the IP, username, password, default port is 21 but i get the following message: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED...
