cant log onto vds

hey i cant log on to the box to restart my servers and i cant restart the vent... is there a reason why?

They were moving some machines in Chicago this morning at least for some of the VDS services so I would check your events log and see if you were affected.

That could be the problem. More details are needed though. Are you running Windows, or a distro of Linux? Did you try restarting the VPS/VDS through your control panel? Did it show offline in the control panel and wouldn't start? Any more info you can give will help us troubleshoot it for you.

that's what i get when i try to hit server control on my panel ... i am using windows NOT linux and when i click on vnc console i get just a blank screen ..

However i did just get a message from siren just a second ago saying that the machine that my VDS is on is one of the ones that was having a problem coming back up after the move and that john is working on it atm .. so i appreciate the info and suggestions you guys have provided =]

Nod, this was due to the Chicago maintenance today. I will be posting a full event to control panels with more information on what happened later this evening. Thank you for your patience!
