Help with new website

Hi all, I just started a new webhosting account today and am looking for a little advice/help. I want to add a portal page and stumbled across a thread here that suggested an approved portal to use (http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... tal#p22276). I have downloaded the files, but not sure how to upload them and get the portal working. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to use a FTP. If you go into your file manger in your control panel, They recommend 2 and give you all the information to connect. If you need anymore help from here just ask. Like steps

Managed to get everything set up and running well...for the most part. Occassionally experiencing slow load times and just now, after refreshing the page, I get a "No Data Received" error. Made no changes prior to this happening.

We had same issue with IPBoards.
Portal caused the entire site to drag ass.
