Help with new website

Post by enjineer »

Hi all, I just started a new webhosting account today and am looking for a little advice/help. I want to add a portal page and stumbled across a thread here that suggested an approved portal to use (http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... tal#p22276). I have downloaded the files, but not sure how to upload them and get the portal working. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to use a FTP. If you go into your file manger in your control panel, They recommend 2 and give you all the information to connect. If you need anymore help from here just ask. Like steps :D

Managed to get everything set up and running well...for the most part. Occassionally experiencing slow load times and just now, after refreshing the page, I get a "No Data Received" error. Made no changes prior to this happening.

We had same issue with IPBoards.
Portal caused the entire site to drag ass.
