Moving VDS Location
If I have a VDS in Seattle and want to move to NYC does your service automatically transfer my hard disk and all its contents to the new location? Or would I need to backup my VDS and reinstall everything once the move is completed?
Re: Moving VDS Location
With unmanaged VDS's our system will automatically transfer your current disk over to the new location.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point

@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Also I want to add to that thread in order for them to move a managed server to another managed server without losing data they could rent a separate managed server on the location that is desired, then they can change location for each individual server without losing data, at least that's what I did and it worked perfectly.Edge100x wrote:We talk more about how upgrades work here: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =47&t=4546
Of course this is not cost effective, however for users that have hundreds of plugins and settings and configs that are set their server, it would most likely be a small price to pay to save a lot of headache.
